Hey everyone!
Wow, it's been forever since I last posted, more than a month! Last time I wrote on here, I was getting my wisdom teeth out... That was not fun. But I'm back and ready to make up for last time!! I already have several DIY projects up my sleeve and posts about delicious foods and makeup tips and my favorite fall outfits! So stay tuned!
Anyways, I've been incredibly busy with college and planning for my future, which leads me to some Amazing news!! Originally, I was planning on staying at the community college I'm currently attending for two years, and transferring to a four year university with my Associates, but that has changed for the better! Honestly, I was never happy at the community college. The only reason I was attending was because A Plus was paying for it, and free is always good. But by attending a community college, I realized that I was missing out on so many different opportunities that students at four year university's have. Opportunities like clubs and organizations, a challenging learning environment and in general, living away from home and making my own place in the world.
Don't misread this, community college's are a great way transfer from high school to college. They are a great opportunity to save money on college tuition and to prep yourself for your career or another college. I know hundreds of people are satisfied with the education and experience received from attending a community college, but I was personally looking for a little more in my college career, so I am transferring next fall to a university here in Missouri. Because of privacy issues, I won't release the name or location, only that it's located here in Missouri.
Now because of that decision, to transfer a year early, I have been extremely busy in choosing my major, I was undecided, but I've chosen Business Administration & Management, a field I'm excited to dive into. I've also been looking over housing options, (to dorm or not to dorm??) making sure all of my classes will transfer correctly, and planning for my life away from home. The transfer process is quite a bit more involved and complicated than I ever could have imagined, but I know it'll be worth it, even though it has taken me away from my writing.
I'll be back on Monday with some storage options *sneak peek* so I'll see you later. Bye!!
